Changing Seasons - Autumn Colours

"Heaven is under our feet"

It is mid May here (Adelaide, South Australia) and the season is changing from summer to autumn and almost winter.

I love the colours of the leaves as the cool winds blow and leaves change from green to gold and reds to rusty brown and all shades in between.

I read "Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads" somewhere and it rings oh so true this time of year.

Welcome Home

On holiday on the Yorke Peninsula, I saw the light catching this gum tree as I drove past. I imaged this might signal to the owners of the property that they had reached home, just down the track behind the tree.
